Saving minutes, even seconds off jobs or tasks can add up to substantial savings throughout the lifespan of any business, regardless of the industry. Keeping a keen eye to everyday opportunities to shave minutes off repetitive tasks is a surefire way to increase your bottom line, save time and conserve energy throughout the organization.

Our layout and striping speed is consistently improving, however, I noticed the majority of time spent during the close out portions of our larger linestriping jobs consisted of our crews standing, manually winding in 3,000+ feet of string line used during the layout of new parking lots. Realizing a need to speed up the process and lower the strain endured on the repetitive winding motion on my crews arms / wrist, I developed a simple solution to solve both problems. My guys love it and it’s significantly cut down time spent on the job site.
